Duo of Tattered Tears - Handmade. Oxidized, textured sterling silver Earrings

"Duo of Tattered Tears" - Worn & weathered just like your favorite pair of jeans in a flattering layered oval tear shape.. also available in a single tear design in separate listings.

COMPONENTS/PROCESS:
Heavy 16 gauge sterling wire has been cut, filed, annealed, meticulously shaped into tear drop shapes, soldered, forged with my favorite hammer, textured with a different hammer (which I am also quite fond of ;) & then given an oxidized patina layer by layer that I removed by brushing & polishing by hand to bring depth to all the nuances & crevices =) .
Playfully dangle from my handforged sterling silver earwires.

LENGTH:
From top of the earwire to the bottom of tear is just a tiny bit shy of 3 inches.
